Public Defender to be questioned today in ECtHR

The Court of Human Rights hearing the case Georgia v. Russia will question Giorgi Tughushi, Public defender today on February 4. Today will be questioned as well Matias Torshi, PACE monitoring. Georgian delegation member being in Strasbourg declared this was a Court's decision to question them. To be noted except of Yorshi and Tughushi the Court will hear today more independent experts.
After the accomplishment of eh questioning stage the Court will start new round of proceedings. It is not known yet how long it will last. Secretary of ECtHR Eric Fribers said the verdict will be announced probably in autumn.

For information, the Strasbourg Court of Human Rights continues the hearing of the case against Russian Federation concerning 2006 mass deportation of Georgian citizens from Russian Federation allegedly on ethnical ground.
